Swedamper S400 is a robust and compact disc damper, developed for industrial flue gas and process systems where high tightness and safe shut-off are crucial.

The double eccentric design with three-point linkage ensures 100% geometric sealing without the need for barrier air. When the damper is closed, the process flow helps to press the damper blade against the sealing surface, which contributes to high tightness even with varying differential pressure and pulsations.

S400 is suitable for clean gases and gases with a certain dust content, for example in bypass systems against chimneys and filters, boiler plants, cogeneration plants, ventilation systems and industrial process ducts.

The damper can be customized with different materials and seals depending on temperature, corrosive environment and wear. There is also the possibility of different operating options and special designs for specific applications.
